Director’s Profile
Dr. C.K. Subbaraya, a mathematician with M.Sc Degree with IV rank from University of Mysore. Obtained Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics, from Bangalore University in 1993. His areas of expertise are Applied Mathematics, Computational Methods, Computer Science. He has published 20 research papers in National and International Journal/Proceedings, also presented several papers in National & International Conferences & Seminars. He was in the editorial boards of reputed National & International journals. He is Member of many professional bodies like; Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Indian Society for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ISTAM), Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), System Society of India, and Indian Red Cross Society. He has visited many Universities, Educational Institutions and academicians in USA, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hongkong, Iran, China, Turkey, Russia and South Korea.
With rich teaching experience Dr. Subraya served as Principal of the prestigious Institution Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology, Chikmagalur for nearly 20 years and contributed for all round development of the
institution. With the blessings of his holiness, Paramapoojya, Padmabhushana, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr.Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji and Sri Sri Sri Dr.Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, Dr.Subbaraya created a brand
of AIT as one of the best institute of the Karnataka State. Under his leadership AIT has developed as a Centre of excellence in Technical Education. NBA - Accreditation for two times, Institution of Engineers India –
Accreditation, ISO 9001-2008 Certification, NAAC Accreditation are the hall marks of his administration. For his remarkable contributions for growth of Higher Education in general and Engineering education in
particular, Dr.Subraya awarded with best Institutional Head awards from Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, IEAE- Institute for Exploring Advances in Engineering, Dept. of MNRE, Dept. of MSME, AICTE, AIU, CMAI, VTU etc.,

By recognizing his devoted and dedicated service of 38 years as Teacher, Administrator, Principal in AIT of Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust, - His holiness, Paramapoojya, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr.Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, appointed him as Registrar of Adichunchanagiri University- BG Nagara, and continuing him as the Director of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology and Adichunchanagiri Institute of Business Management.
Principal
Professor Dr. Prakasha Rao K.S. was appointed as the Founding Principal of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Business Management in 2010. Earlier to this Profession Dr. Rao is the Head of PG department of Management studies at Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology, Chikkamagaluru. Professor Rao has academic qualifications of B.Com., M.Com.,M.Phil, M.F.M, MBA (HR), PGDHRM from the S.K.University, S.V..University, Pondicherry University, Assam down town University and MIT Pune respectively. Professor Rao Conferred with doctoral degree from CMJ University, Shillong for his Thesis on “Micro Credit and Rural women empowerment – ref to Bellary district of Karnataka”, in 2013.
Professor Rao's areas of interest include - Capital markets and Investment Management, Financial Management, Micro credit, HRM, General Management, higher education and spirituality. He has over twenty publications to his credit and participations in various Faculty Development Programs, Academic Leadership training programs,Workshops,Seminars, National and International conferences. He has co-edited a book titled “Emerging trends in Business and Economy”. He guided hundreds of MBA Project works and recognized as Best Internship guide in 2008 at ICFAI National College.
Professor Rao has held positions of Member of BOE of VTU for two terms, A Member of Academic Council of Kuvempu University and Honorable Governing council member of Kuvempu University for a term. Dr. Rao is a member and Co-Chairman of BOS of Adichunchanagiri university, B.G.Nagara. Known for his simplicity and humble nature – Dr.Rao who believes in continuous teaching-learning process serving AIBM since its inception with the blessings of his holiness, Paramapoojya, Padmabhushana, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr.Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji and Sri Sri Sri Dr.Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji.
